Bruce Robertson, Legendary All Blacks Player Passes Away at 71

Bruce Robertson was a true icon in All Blacks rugby history and after news of his passing broke social media was filled with tributes to this great player. Fans have long had questions regarding what happened to Bruce Robertson, but after conducting thorough research we can confirm that his passing was caused by a long battle with an illness. While his family have not released specifics of said illness that caused it, they did release a statement saying he passed peacefully with family around him.

Aaron Lawton, Chief Executive of Counties Manukau Rugby Football Union issued a statement mourning Bruce’s passing as one of Counties Manukau’s great All Blacks. We express our deepest condolences.” Bruce left an indelible mark at our union and would have been immensely proud to watch his grandson Jadin don his jersey last year. We are working closely with Bruce’s family in planning a service at Navigation Homes Stadium and will release details shortly.”
