How to Unlock Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of Kingdom (Part 2)

Unlocking Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower may be one of the more frustrating aspects of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom; however, once completed it makes for an excellent starting point to explore West Necluda and beyond. Here is how to do it.

To reach the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, enter Sahasra Slope Cave located directly beneath it and use your Ascend power to gain entry from below.

Billson, an unhelpful Rito mechanic charged with fixing the Tower, welcomes you upon your approach and mentions how hungry he was while going mushroom hunting in those caves during construction – but don’t be misled into thinking you need to bring Billson some for snack! Gaining entry doesn’t involve anything related to mushrooms – or anything related.

Instead, descend down the hill and enter the caves, where you’ll discover a rock hammer handy to help break apart cracked rocks on your right-hand side. Luckily, should your rock-smashing equipment run dry, some rusted claymores and two-handed weapons will appear from within the rubble to replenish your supply.

There will be lots of rocks to move here, but eventually, you will discover a secret passageway leading to a small cavern below Skyview Tower.

Two cave entrances exist – one to the northwest and one to the southeast – both leading into tunnels underneath that lead into another small tunnel system that leads further under. You should only need to descend one level for this adventure! Just be wary as Battle Talus may ambush you along your journey.

Equip your hammer/boulder weapon/use bombs to navigate through the cave system, where there will be many rocks you must crush down.

Search for an enclosed area surrounded by boulders at around coordinates 1343, 1178, 0131 to locate Ascend’s cave entrance; once found use Ascend power to pop your head out from beneath its floor before using your map to align yourself under building; activate terminal to fix tower; use map for alignment purpose before popping out into Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower via Ascend to emerge into Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower!
