Tragic news of Hockey Captain Dayton Clarke’s untimely Death at 34

Dayton Clarke‘s tragic passing has come with great sorrow to us all. A former Kam River Fighting Walleye forward and current University of Oregon Ducks hockey player, Clarke was hit by a truck in Eugene, Oregon and succumbed as a result. Clarke, originally from Victoria in British Columbia, was known for his infectious enthusiasm and pleasant disposition both on and off the ice, making his loss deeply felt throughout both hockey circles and his family’s lives.

Victim has not been officially identified; according to Eugene Police Department officials, however, a 34-year-old male motorist returned to the scene of the collision in a large delivery truck to cooperate. Unfortunately, however, those responsible remain unknown at this time; their respective collision investigation teams of Eugene Police Department are currently conducting their own examination into its specifics.
