Cecilia Vega of ABC Journalist Cecilia Vega addresses reports regarding possible pregnancies
Social media has been abuzz with speculation surrounding American journalist and news correspondent Cecilia Marcellina Vega. Many believe she may be expecting her first child; however, according to sources these rumors are false.
Vega began her career at KGO-TV in San Francisco and earned an Emmy award. Shortly thereafter she joined ABC News based out of Los Angeles as a journalist before transitioning into chief White House correspondent duties for ABC News.
Vega enjoys exploring stories beyond politics; appreciating each storyteller on 60 Minutes who incorporate part of themselves into their work – what sets each one apart for her is “what distinguishes each one from one another is how much of them brings themself into it”. As she herself puts it: “what sets each one apart is how much of themselves they incorporate themselves into it”.

Ricardo Jimenez served 25 years with California Highway Patrol before his retirement on September 23, 2020; they wed in 2008 and began living together privately thereafter.
Although details regarding whether they have children have yet been shared publicly by Vega or Jimenez themselves, it seems as though both enjoy an enjoyable relationship and private lives together.
Jimenez received their Distinguished Achievement Award; additionally she supports journalists of color while encouraging others to do the same.
Cecilia Vega recently made her television show debut and expressed her delight and excitement about providing journalists of color greater opportunities. Though reports of pregnancy remain false, Cecilia’s career promises many great achievements in the near future.
